China Geo-Equipment Group (CGE) is a national large-scale enterprises group ratified by the State Economic & Trade Commission and registered in the State Administration for Industrial and Commerce. It engaged in not only the manufacturing, supply and sales of geological equipment, geophysical instrument, and super hard materials & their products, but also technology development, geotechnical construction and international trade. CGE is among the first 20 enterprises to which the State Council accredits supervisory committee. With China Geo-Equipment Corporation as its parent company, CGE now has 58 member enterprises including wholly owned companies, holding companies, subsidiaries and related enterprises in every province, autonomous region and municipality. With the total fixed asset of RMB 1.6 billion, registered capital of RMB 250 million and total aggregate sales of 1 billion, It has about 30,000 workers and 3000 technical personnel among which there are 27 experts who get special allowance from the government. China Geo-Equipment Corporation is authorized to do import and export business. By now, it has established economic and trade relationship with about 200 companies covering 50 countries and regions. 13 catalogues of its products are exported to South East Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and other countries and regions. It has become the main exporting channel for geological products in China. In addition, CGE has achieved sound business co-operation or established joint venture with such world wide famous companies as BoartLongyear in South Africa, Hobit in Canada, Soil MEC in Italy, as well as Sullivan and Pacific Link in United States. In order to promote technical improvement and innovation, the Technology Development Center was set up in 1994 and is approved by National Economic & Trade Commission, National Tax Administration and General Administration of Customs as one of the 203 enterprise??s or group??s technology development centers in China. Except for the projects of technology innovation from government, this center is responsible for the development and research of new products and technology, as well as providing technical service for the subsidiary companies of the group. CGE can provide 8 categories and 150 kinds of geotechnical drilling machinery including core drills, blast hoe drills, exploration drilling rigs, water well drilling rigs, foundation drilling machines, horizontal directional drilling machines, and pumps etc; 14 categories and 130 kinds of geo-physical and geo-chemical instruments including electric, magnetic, gravity, seismic, well surveying, mineral analyzing and environmental monitoring instruments; super hard materials and their products including diamond press machines, synthetic diamond, PDC, diamond bits and saw blades, as well as tungsten carbide and insert. CGE also manufactures mining equipment, mineral processing equipment, environmental protection equipment and agricultural equipment.
