Shandong Prosthetics & Orthotics Rehabilitation Center ("Center" for short in the following) was built in 1950,invested by the Civil Admini-stration Department of Shandong Province. It's a social welfare service center supplying service to the arm men and other people with disabi-tity.lt is also a standing member of China Prosthesis Society. The Center lies in the Jinan City, So called "Spring City" It possesses assets about 50 million yuan and its annual sale is about 20 million yuan. The built-up area is 26000 square meters. The scale of the corpor-ation is the biggest one in the prothetic sector in China. There is a staff of 400 in the Center, including 70 persons with junior college or higher educational level and 100 secondary and senior medical and engin-eering technicians. The Center includes 6 managing departments: prosthetic depart- ment, orthotic department, reception department, the research institute of prosthetic and orthotic nomalizers, and the sales branches of the wares for the handicapped. The Center also has 4 administrations: office section, account department, security section, and es- tate management department. To serve the handicapped much better, the Center has set more than 20 branches or service stations all over Shandong province.

The products include the most advanced intellective bionic legs, inductive-controlled myoelectric arms and so on.
